MISSOULA, Mont. -

Fire crews rushed to put out a trailer fire in Missoula Wednesday afternoon. Fire bosses tell us they were called out around 1:30 p.m. to the home off Mullan Road just west of Missoula.

The owner of the trailer came home, found her kitchen on fire and immediately called 911. She is OK but we're told one of her two cats was killed.

Crews say the damage was limited to the interior and they were able to save a large portion of the home.

"We were able to salvage a lot of things in the house, a lot of household goods and belongings," said Greg Orr, of the Missoula Rural Fire Department. "Our crews were able to get a quick knockdown. Everybody was out of the building and everybody was safe. There were two cats and...we were able to save one of the cats."

Fire crews are still investigating the cause of the blaze. We'll let you know when we learn more.
