MISSOULA, Mont. -

Missoula high school students got a realistic look during a mock drunk driving crash scene Tuesday.

First responders, law enforcement and even the Life Flight helicopter showed up for the demonstration on the Loyola Sacred Heart football fields.

Students saw how devastating fatal drunk driving accidents can be, as some of their classmates were taken away on stretchers, in police cars and helicopters. One student played the fatal victim.

Nearly 1500 students participated in the project was hosted by a non-profit community project called “Your Choice.” The organization aims to address young Missoula drivers.
