'Don't let Montanans go to sleep hungry' food drive heads to Kalispell
Our joint effort with the Montana Food Bank Network and Sleep City "Don't let Montanans go to sleep hungry" food drive is stopping hunger, one meal at a time.
NBC Montana Today Host Adam Painter was at Sleep City in Kalispell bright and early Wednesday morning talking with folks from the Flathead Food Bank, the Wave, Rosauers, and more.
We caught up with Sleep City manager Ryan Presta who told us it's always important to remember our neighbors in need.
"Our friends, our neighbors, we don't realize how many people are in need of food," said Presta. "The more food we can bring in the better off. One in six kids are going hungry and anything you can bring can definitely help."
To date, your donations in our drive have totaled 348 pounds of food and enough money for 4,102 meals.
