MISSOULA, Mont. -

Firefighters responded to 6 new lighting start wildfires spotted in the Lolo National Forest Sunday.

Lolo National Forest Spokesman Boyd Hartwig tells us the most significant blaze is the Martel Mountain Fire, located directly north of Fish Creek on the north side of Interstate 90 near Superior.

The fire is listed at 2 acres in size. A crew of 40 firefighters and 2 helicopters were able to achieve full containment of the blaze Sunday afternoon.

Hartwig says the fire did not threaten any structures.
