MISSOULA, Mont. -

Ravalli County Sheriff Chris Hoffman tells NBC Montana that crews rescued two rafters off the Bitterroot River on Saturday, in the victor area. We're told the rafters are uninjured. Details are limited at this time, but Hoffman tells us the incident occurred between the area of Tucker Crossing and Victor Crossing.

Hoffman says the rafters apparently became stranded, and Victor Fire and Search and Rescue responded. Hoffman tells us river conditions are getting dicey, and water is rising, so authorities are asking people continuing to use the river to use caution.
