Helena Public Schools Superintendent Kent Kultgen tells the Associated Press that C.R. Anderson Middle School will reopen Tuesday.
Officials say a defunct shooting range in the basement is the source of the lead. The school closed last Tuesday due to the elevated lead levels.
Kultgen says access to the basement where the shooting range was located will remain closed.
The basement holds classrooms for art, weights, cardiovascular training, orchestra and reading. Kultgen says the classes will be moved.
St. Peter's Hospital is offering free blood-lead testing, but other local health officials say the testing isn't needed.
