The five-member Montana Public Service Commission will hold a public hearing starting Wednesday to discuss a rate increase request by the company that supplies Missoula's drinking water.
The Missoulian reports that it's the first rate increase request by Carlyle Group after buying Mountain Water Co. in 2011.
The rate increase request has occurred about every two years for the past several decades.
The company serves about 22,000 customers around Missoula.
