COLUMBIA FALLS, Mont. -

A Columbia Falls' company just closed on a multi-million dollar buying agreement with the Defense Logistics Agency and the federal government.

Nomad Global Communcation Solutions is up to the task, according to the Department of Defense. The agreement would allow Nomad to sell emergency vehicles to the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and federal civilian agencies.

Since 2002, the company's developed custom-made vehicles used by emergency responders, disaster preparedness teams, and the medical industry. The vehicles are manufactured in the Flathead, where the technology inside often helps assist agencies who work in remote areas.

The agreement with DLA will run through September 2018.
