KALISPELL, Mont. -

It's been eight months since Cody Lee Johnson was killed in Glacier National Park by his wife of just eight days, Jordan Linn Graham.

Now, for what would have been his 26th birthday, Cody's church, Faith Baptist in Kalispell, s planning to celebrate his life.

"Some are taking it really hard which we did too.  But we are going on now we're getting past the tragedy, the sadness, and going on looking for the good," said Pastor Clint Theline,

The event will be at Faith Baptist Church in Kalispell on April 6 at 6:00 p.m. where they'll have a birthday cake in Cody's honor.  It'll be a celebration of his life where people will be able to go up and talk about some of their favorite moments with Cody.  Pastor Clint tells us that he hopes this type of event is one that can help people move forward and heal.

"We believe it will be a great time.  A great time to heal.  A great time of newness that now we go on positive," Theline said.

Theline says that good things can come out of the bad and that while it may be tough to see and understand right now, he hopes that eventually everyone can find the good that has come from Johnson's death.
