BUTTE, Mont. -

Butte-Silver Bow Chief Executive Matt Vincent told NBC Montana he plans to go after $70 million in federal funding to bring a new manufacturing hub to the Mining City.

Last week Vincent was one of 50 city leaders from around the United States invited to the White House for a manufacturing summit.

The goal is to get federal funding to help build those manufacturing hubs. Vincent told NBC Montana one key area of discussion was developing a proposal to help secure that $70 million in federal money.

Vincent told us he has until March to build a strategy and deliver the next proposal.
