BUTTE, Mont. -

A 67-year-old Butte man has pleaded guilty to felony negligent homicide for a crash in the city that caused the other driver to suffer fatal injuries.

The Montana Standard reports J.R. Hollingsworth also pleaded guilty to misdemeanor negligent endangerment during a hearing before District Judge Kurt Krueger on Tuesday.

Prosecutors said Hollingsworth ran a red light on Aug. 23 and his pickup broadsided a car driven by 74-year-old Forrest Felton. Felton died at a Butte hospital.
