BUTTE, Mont. -

Butte Cares will hold a community conversation next week, among the topics they want to discuss is suicide.

The organization focuses on reducing underage drinking and drug use, the focus will be prevention.

The community saw four teen suicides in four months earlier this year.

Organizers said Butte residents will be able to talk to city leaders, health experts and law enforcement about how to best get the word out that help is available.

"We're going to focus on drinking, tobacco, alcohol," said Butte Cares President Pat Prendergast. "But also prevention of suicides, because we have a recent epidemic in our community. That's going to be a topic because prevention is prevention is prevention. So what applies to tobacco and alcohol also is applicable to suicide as well."

The Butte Cares Community Conversation is scheduled for next Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Butte Civic Center Annex.
