MISSOULA, Mont. -

Tickets to see the high profile country group Zac Brown Band go on sale in Missoula and Bozeman tomorrow. But box office officials are warning people to watch out for scalpers

“It's what our industry has to put up with right now,” said Adams Center Director Brad Murphy.

Murphy knows it comes with the territory. When the box office sells tickets for a big name show like Zac Brown Band, some of them are bound to end up on the secondary market - online.

“They're in the business to make money so they're going to raise the price of those tickets significantly.”

But the price jump is only part of it.  Tickets for the Zac Brown shows don't officially go on sale until Friday, but a quick check online shows shoppers could find them early.

“There are already tickets on ‘Stub Hub’ for $300,” Murphy said.

Thursday afternoon, Stub Hub and had a long list of tickets for the Missoula show already available. Some of them could be pre-sale tickets but there's no telling.

“I'm not going to say that they're not real, but we cannot guarantee or verify that those are legitimate tickets,” Murphy said.

And the online sites can't guarantee it either. Both Stub Hub and a similar site, Ticket Network have refund policies if the tickets you buy aren't real.

Some people we talked to said they’re willing to take the risk others would rather buy right from the source.

“I've never had any bad experiences with them and I've always heard good things about them.”

“If you're just putting your faith in this internet site and you have no idea who's on the other end you could send money and get fake tickets or no tickets at all.”

“I try to play it safe I guess with everything, you go to where you know is legitimate.”

Which is what the Adams Center recommends; “We just want to get the word out there, the best that you can please buy from a reputable source,” said Murphy.

Tickets for both the Missoula (Nov. 21) and Bozeman (Nov. 22) shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
