A 50-year-old Boulder man was arrested early Tuesday after family members said he threatened them with a gun during an argument over an inheritance.
Mark Todd Williams was arrested on suspicion of two counts of assault with a weapon, two counts of criminal endangerment and one count of assault on a peace officer.
Authorities responded to a report of a man with a gun shortly after 4:30 a.m. Tuesday. Witnesses say Williams had pointed a gun at them. Two family members told officers they were able to wrestle the gun away from Williams.
Butte-Silver Bow Undersheriff George Skuletich says the confrontation happened during a fight over inherited property.
