BOZEMAN, Mont. -

Butte law enforcement officials tell NBC Montana they've found two ID's on the body of a man found off the East Ridge.

Undersheriff George Skuletich tells us the body was pulled out from below the Our Lady of the Rockies statue about 4:30 Friday afternoon. They believe he's been dead for one or two weeks.

He said three hikers who were hiking down from Our Lady of the Rockies spotted the body and called police.

The man, in his 50s, had a local address on one ID, but an out-of-state address on another. Authorities are trying to determine where he's from, and get in contact with his family.

Skuletich said the man was dressed in hiking gear, and they didn't find any signs of trauma or foul play.

The body was sent to the state crime lab in Missoula for an autopsy. The man's name has not been released.
