MISSOULA, Mont. -

Missoula police took a body of a 60-year-old man, who was a Missoula resident, out of the Clark Fork River late Wednesday.

A call to emergency dispatchers came in at about 6 p.m.  People at the California Street footbridge between Russell and Orange Street spotted a body in the water. 

A crowd gathered as officers responded. 

Those at the scene confirmed to NBC Montana that they did recover one body.   The man 's identity has not been released.
