HELENA, Mont. -

Helena Valley Irrigation District workers found the body of a 65-year-old woman who went missing during an evening walk.
Lewis and Clark County Sheriff Leo Dutton says the woman went for a walk at about 10 p.m. Monday in the East Helena valley. Her husband reported her missing just before 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.
While officers checked for usage on her credit cards, Undersheriff Dave Rau contacted the irrigation district and asked them to check the canals because the woman often walked along them.
Her body was found at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Helena valley.
Dutton estimated her body traveled about 10 miles in the swift-moving water.
Coroner Mickey Nelson says an autopsy is planned, but Dutton says on foul play is suspected.
The woman's name has not been released.
