BILLINGS, Mont. -

A Billings man is charged with stealing more than $10,000 from an ATM at the casino where he worked.

The Billings Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/16P67O7 ) 33-year-old Russell Allen Ibison appeared in Yellowstone County Justice Court Wednesday on a charge of felony theft. Justice of the Peace Larry Herman continued a $5,000 bond Ibison already posted and ordered him to appear in District Court on Nov. 5.

Court records say the manager of the Tahitian Nights Casino called police on June 14 to report a possible theft from an ATM.

Court records say the manager exchanged several text messages with Ibison, who was then the assistant manager. Prosecutors say he brought a hand-written confession to the casino in which he admitted stealing $10,670 and offering to repay the money.
