Dozens of American flags lined Main Street in Bozeman Friday.
The flags were hung this morning by the Bozeman chapter of the American Legion, a veterans organization providing support to former and current members of the military.
The Legion hangs the flags down Main Street four times a year -- on Memorial Day, Veterans Day, Flag Day and the Fourth of July.
"To show the patriotism that we enjoy. And we hope that everyone that sees the flags appreciates what this country's done for them and what we can do for our country," American Legion Post 14 Commander James Howe explained.
