WHITEFISH, Mont. -

Creativity and the need for speed fueled Saturday afternoon's Dummy Derby at Whitefish Mountain Resort.

Hailed as a "demolition derby on skis," competitors make homemade rafts out of anything and everything and strap it to a pair of skis. The dummy is released on a hill, launches over a jump, and lands in a crash pit of other dummies.

Flathead Lake Brewing Company said their dummy made out of a keg, "Bob 45," was riding in style.

"[It's] aerodynamic, low center of gravity, really nice skis. He's got nice skis than me so hopefully he can shred," said Nate from the brewery.

The winner took home $500 and a Dummy Derby championship title to hold until 2014's competition.
