The executive director of the Boys and Girls Club of Great Falls says thieves stole cash, games, cameras, food and the club's van and then ransacked the building before leaving.
Sonya Smith says she received a call Sunday morning from the Cascade County Sheriff's Office notifying her that the organization's van was found off the road of Bootlegger trail.
The Great Falls Tribune reports (http://gftrib.com/V1dBmA ) Smith arrived at the club's offices to find a lock had been destroyed and everything the thief or thieves hadn't stolen was strewn across the floor.
Police and sheriff's officials are investigating. A damage estimate was not immediately available.
Smith says the break-in affects the children the club serves because it is difficult as a nonprofit to acquire things to serve the children better.
