A Billings man accused of shooting and killing another man is set to make an initial court appearance.
Prosecutors filed an affidavit ahead of 41-year-old David Isaacson's appearance Thursday in justice court.
The court documents say Isaacson told investigators his girlfriend, Daniell Calhoun, was previously in an abusive relationship with Sabah Mallak.
She had told him that Mallak would be "driving by their house early on Christmas morning."
The documents say Calhoun left to meet Mallak early Tuesday. Isaacson told investigators he left with a pistol and saw Mallak in a car and Calhoun nearby.
The court documents say Isaacson shot at Mallak's car with a .357-caliber revolver as Mallak drove toward him.
The Billings Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/V6K1w7 ) Isaacson is being held on possible charges of deliberate homicide and tampering.
