MISSOULA, Mont. -

Student senators are reacting to the sexual assault tutorial the University of Montana is requiring of all students.

Tonight, they watched mandatory videos and then took a required seven question quiz.

Each student must get 100%.

The federal investigation into how the university handles sex assault reports sparked this mandatory tutorial.

Micah Nielsen is an ASUM executive who was skeptical of the video at first. Now, she tells NBC Montana that it is done very well with compelling information and that students will take it seriously. "I don't know how a student could not take this seriously, given everything that has happened on our campus and coming from a place of confusion and wonder to a place where they are invigorated with new and good information."

If a student doesn't take the quiz or doesn't pass, they are not allowed to register for a second semester.
