Bozeman's Sola Cafe reopened after a fire forced their doors closed, and it's just ahead of another milestone- opening a second location.
On Sunday, the Sola celebrated their grand reopening of the cafe on the corner of Kagy and Wilson.
Owner Tiffany Lach said Sola suffered extensive smoke damage after a fire four months ago.
"It was a real mess" she said. "Smoke got in everything."
They had to close down while they renovated. She said they replaced most of the walls, ceiling, floors, insulation and wiring.
But now, they've replaced and rebuilt- and are reopen.
NBC Montana went there Sunday morning. The was cafe packed with customers, happy to come back. Many stopped to congratulate Lach and tell her how excited they were.
Lach said she's gotten a lot of that throughout the whole week.
"I've been completely blown away by the amount of, well, just the people who just flocked back in here, and a lot of regular customers. A lot of people, new faces as well" she said, adding "I've just been really just touched by the support."
Sola reopened on January 7th, exactly one week before Lach said they're set to open their second location and bakery- Sola Presta near Downtown.
The space features a brick oven that Lach said they'll use to bake breads and other products for both cafes.
Lach said with the reopening and new opening, they've expanded their menu and doubled their to-go items.
Sola Presta will open on Monday, and will be more of a take-out style cafe with patio seating. It's located next to Cat Walk on West Main.
