Madison County authorities say snowshoers found a body in the Beehive Basin area.
Sheriff Dave Schenk says the body is that of a man who appears to have fallen from a cliff. No identification or other documents were found with the body.
The Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports (http://bit.ly/10yqOJI) snowshoers contacted authorities Sunday morning. Rescuers removed the body near the remote trail frequented by backcountry users.
An autopsy was to be performed Sunday night at the state crime lab in Missoula.
