Employees of Kalispell Public Schools received a surprise in their email when electronic W-2 forms sent out on Jan. 31 showed their wages at quadruple the correct amounts.
Business clerk Gwyn Anderson blamed a new software program and improper instruction from the vendor. She says the information was corrected and new forms were sent out about 30 minutes later.
The business office also printed hard copies, which were correct, and they were sent out the next day.
Andersen says many staff members took the incorrect W-2s in stride. She says some people are even framing them.
