MISSOULA, Mont. -

Repair work started on the Russell Street bridge in Missoula on Wednesday, prompting crews to close the northbound lane of the bridge. Transportation staff say the closure will allow crews to do bridge rail repair. The work started at 6:30 am.

Staff say the lane isn’t expected to re-open until 4:00 pm. Drivers going northbound are encouraged to find alternate roads, while southbound traffic isn’t affected.
