Ravalli County authorities are considering an ordinance to deal with problems involving vicious dogs.
The Ravalli Republic reports (http://bit.ly/12iw6d5) that county commissioners are considering changing the current law that doesn't allow fines or jail time for the owners of vicious dogs with repeat violations.
Commissioner Suzy Foss says she'll support an ordinance that allows judges to order euthanized a dog that bites people more than once.
The commission held a public hearing Thursday to consider the matter and plans to hold another Feb. 21.
