A pedestrian was struck by two vehicles and killed on U.S. Highway 93 south of Kalispell.
The Montana Highway Patrol says the collisions were reported at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday.
The patrol says the driver of the first vehicle, a 15-year-old girl from Somers, did not see the pedestrian on the highway in time to stop.
Another vehicle was able to swerve and miss the downed pedestrian, but a 17-year-old Somers girl following behind that vehicle was unable to react in time and struck the pedestrian.
The pedestrian died at the scene. The Flathead County coroner has not identified the victim.
