Two young adults have been arrested for vandalism on Whitefish High School property.

According to Whitefish Police, 21 year old Kristen Langstaff of rural Whitefish and 19 year old Clayton Larsen of Evergreen admitted to the incident that occurred on May 30th. The welcome sign at the front entrance of the school was painted orange and black along with some school sidewalks and windows.

The pair is charged with criminal misdemeanor mischief, and if convicted they could face a fine of up to $500, up to six months county jail time, or restitution to the school.
