PABLO, Mont. -

Lake County authorities say a bear attacked a Pablo resident in his yard.
Undersheriff Dan Yonkin told KERR-AM authorities have not confirmed what kind of bear attacked the man Friday morning, but the man told police he believes it was a grizzly.
Yonkin did not identify the man, and the nature and extent of his injuries were not immediately clear. He was taken to a hospital, where Yonkin says he was coherent and speaking.
Yonkin says officers have warned a nearby elementary school and Salish Kootenai College of a bear in the area and are asking residents to be alert and aware of their surroundings.
Law-enforcement officials also notified fish and wildlife officials with the state and the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes.
