The Montana Highway Patrol says a 25-year-old Pablo man has died from injuries after his 2001 Mercury Mountaineer left Valley View Road near Polson yesterday. The accident happened yesterday around 5:30. MHP says Nathan L. Fisher was traveling southbound on Valley View Road when his SUV drifted off the road, went through a ditch, then a fence, before traveling 50 yards and hitting a tree.
Fisher was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center, where he died early Sunday morning.
The cause of the accident is under investigation, but speed and alcohol are not believed to be factors.
