The Greater Gallatin Homeless Action Coalition will hold their fifth annual one-stop shop for low-income community members, Saturday.
 
Project Homeless Connect offers to streamlined access to free resources from medical, dental and eye care to clothing, hair cuts and meals, all donated by local businesses.
    
Coordinators say these resources can be expensive and many folks wouldn't have access to them, otherwise.

That's one reason why they say the event is vital to our community.

"I think Project Homeless Connect says that we care and that our low-income community members or maybe someone just had a rough year, maybe lost a job, that they're important and they're valuable and that these resources are available to them," says Project Homeless Connect Director Bridget Pitman.

Last year Project Homeless Connect saw twice as many folks as they had in previous years and they hope they'll see even more this year.

The event will be from 9am to 2pm this Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church on the corner of Willson and Babcock (26 W. Babcock).
