Montana wildlife officials say tens of thousands of snow geese have arrived at Freezout Wildlife Management Area as they migrate north to their breeding grounds.
Fish, Wildlife and Parks says between 50,000 and 100,000 of the geese have appeared in the past week.
The birds' stopping point between Fairfield and Choteau at the end of March is a major draw for birdwatchers.
FWP officials caution that visitors should be careful of muddy roads on the wildlife management area.
