A Montana hotel recently captured the attention of USA Today, and the amenities are far from average. In fact, it’s a ‘hobbit hotel.’ With the movie raking in the bucks at the box office, the newspaper chose to profile hobbit-themed hotels around the country.

One of them is the “Hobbit House of Montana,” in Trout Creek, which is about two and a half hours northeast of Missoula. The lodge itself is a guesthouse that sleeps three, but there are small hobbit houses spread over 20 acres to make it look like the Shire.

Owners say there has been an up-tick in calls since the movie. Lodging is available at $245 for two people, with an additional fee for a third person.
