Missoula's Linsey Corbin won the Ironman Austria women's triathlon Sunday.

Competing in her first Ironman event in Europe, Corbin, from Missoula, took the lead in the cycling stage before holding off a challenge by Erika Csomor of Hungary in the marathon.

Corbin finished in 9 hours, 9 minutes, 58 seconds for her second career victory, two years after winning the Ironman Coeur d'Alene in Idaho.

Faris Al-Sultan won the men's event. Al- Sultan took the lead early in the marathon and the German stayed in front for the rest of the race for his fifth career title. He finished in 8:11:31.
