The Montana Highway Patrol says a Missoula man was killed in a motorcycle accident Saturday evening.

Troopers report a 39-year-old male is dead after an accident on MT Highway 200 near Plains.

MHP responded to the scene around 6:40 p.m. Saturday, after the man hit a bighorn sheep, was thrown into traffic, and then run over by an SUV.

Troopers said the man was not wearing a helmet. Speed was not a factor and it is unknown at this time if alcohol was involved.
