Missoula Police respond to stabbing

Missoula Police responded Saturday night to the area behind the Reserve Street Wal-Mart for reports of a stabbing around 7 p.m.

Police say the female victim was transported to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula with a stab wound to her thigh. The injury is non-life threatening and she is in stable condition.

Police say the investigation is ongoing  and have a description of the suspect.

The victim says her attacker is a male, around 6' 1" with a red beard and glasses, and that he had a mutt with him.
