The U.S. Marshals Service says a man charged with raping a 13-year-old girl in Ohio has been arrested in Montana.
The agency's Montana Violent Offender Task Force arrested 38-year-old David Gordon Martin in Billings on Wednesday. A warrant charging him with unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and rape was issued June 12 from District Court in Morrow County, Ohio.
Chief Deputy Marshal Rod Ostermiller says Martin was being held in the Yellowstone County jail Thursday without bail.
WBNS-TV in Columbus, Ohio, reported Martin is suspected of impregnating the girl. Morrow County officials said he was arrested last fall, but authorities could not do a DNA test at the time to determine if the child was his.
Her family told WBNS the baby was born in April.
