GREAT FALLS, Mont. -

Police in Great Falls say a 33-year-old man died when his speeding Jeep slammed into a pickup truck parked on a city street.

Sgt. Bryan Slavik says a witness estimated the man was driving between 60 and 100 mph when he hit the truck at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. The impact pushed the pickup about 60 feet and the Jeep rolled end-over-end, coming to rest on the driver's side.

Slavik says the driver was pinned on the ground under the Jeep's roll bar. He died at the scene. His name has not been released. A 25-year-old woman was ejected from the Jeep and suffered serious injuries.

She was hospitalized in intensive care.
