BOZEMAN, Mont. -

Folks with MSU's Ceramics Guild want you to see what they're up to over at Haynes Hall.

That's why they're selling off student-made bowls and offering complimentary chili to anyone who buys one.

The chili bowl fundraiser is a bi-annual event that benefits student ceramics projects and helps to send MSU Ceramics Guild students to a national conference in Houston this spring.

They say every semester, Miller Dining Hall helps to cook around 150 gallons of chili for the cause.

MSU Ceramics Guild President Terri Harper says a good portion of the bowls are even made from Montana clay.

There's a live bluegrass band in the afternoon and you have your choice of one of three types of chili, including President Cruzado's own green chile chicken chili.

"Because we're away from the main campus, we don't get a lot of people out here.  A lot of people don't even know that we have an art building and so, to say, please come and see what we're doing out here, we'd really like to be able to talk with you and kind of get the community involved in the school," says MSU Ceramics Guild Vice President Marian Bowlers.

You can also check out the sale tomorrow from 11a to 2p in room 108 of Haynes Hall.

Bowls are $15 apiece.
