Loose Caboose coffee stand auctioned off for charity
A Montana coffee drive-through icon is up for auction, and for a good cause.
Owners of Missoula’s Loose Caboose coffee stand chain are selling the original caboose they started out with on Brooks Street 18-years ago.
A runaway truck dealt the caboose some damage when it crashed into it in August.
The owners have a new caboose on the way to replace it, and they're delivering the damaged one to the highest bidder, and donating the proceeds to Missoula’s Poverello Center.
"It's really versatile. You can use it for a bike workshop, or a cute little playhouse, or pretty much anything you can imagine," said Loose Caboose Barista Cassi James.
