Lolo man charged with felonies after golf club incident
A Lolo man faces four charges including two felonies after threatening a University of Montana campus police officer and an event staff member.
Prosecutors say 43-year-old Erriche Von Greenbrier was swinging a golf club and cussing at the officer and staff outside the Adams Center Friday.
Court documents say he was forcing the officer and staff to backup so they weren’t hit with the club. Two other UM officers responded and were able to arrest Von Greenbrier before he hit one of the officers with the club. At the jail officers found a marijuana pipe on Von Greenbrier.
Von Greenbrier was charged with felony assault on a peace officer, felony assault with a weapon, disorderly conduct and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
In Missoula County Justice Court Monday, the judge set bail at $5,000 and told Von Greenbrier he has to stay away from the UM campus.
