KALISPELL, Mont. -

Kalispell Police officers say graffiti vandals struck the Kidsports complex in Kalispell sometime on Sunday night or early Monday morning. However, a partnership between officers and local companies has cleaned it up quickly.

On Monday a worker from Allied restoration was on-hand, scrubbing and spraying graffiti off of bathroom walls. Stat and Allied Restoration companies have been donating their time to clean up tags around the city. Officers are footing the bill for some of the equipment.

“I can’t believe it’s even here,” said Stat Restoration employee Josh Freebury. “I wouldn’t want my kids to roll up here and see all this, and it’s just not a very good thing.”

The restoration companies plan to write up bills for all the tags they clean up, so judges can figure out how much the offenders have to pay after they’ve been caught.
