Combine a walk in the treetops with maneuvers one would only think a flying squirrel could accomplish and you've got the Aerial Adventure Park at Whitefish Mountain Resort.
"We like to take the natural setting into account," said course designer Bahman Azarm. "The beautiful pines we have here, we wanted the trees to show off the park."
Sixty-three separate elements make up four levels of courses - yellow, green, blue, and black - each challenge a bit harder than the last.
"There are some that are much harder that just get you to the point of saying 'Oh, I don't know if I'm going to make that,'" said Azarm. "I'm sure a lot of people swear at me when they're going through it but they really enjoy it at the end of it."
"You have to plan you route ahead of time, how you're going to get across some of those obstacles," said Whitefish resident Nic Chaffey.
It's the first aerial park of it's kind in Montana, and it also utilizes the newest safety innovations. Those who dare to swing from tree to tree can feel comfortable while doing so.
"I'm ready to see if I can do the black one," said Sydney resident Nic Nivotny.
"I think it's going to be challenging," said Chaffey, "but I'm hoping to finish it."
The Aerial Adventure Park opens to anyone looking to show off their inner spider monkey on Saturday, July 28.
