BUTTE, Mont. -

Butte-Silver Bow leaders will decide Wednesday night during the regular council of commissioners meeting whether to accept the resignation of justice of the peace Robert Lee.

Lee submitted his letter of resignation to Chief Executive Paul Babb earlier this month.

Lee's facing 34 counts of fraudulently obtaining prescription drugs in Deer Lodge and Jefferson County.

The letter lists his official date of retirement as July 1rst.

Lee can't and hasn't taken any cases while he's being prosecuted.

Commissioners meeting begins at 7:30 at the courthouse.
