An Idaho man is charged with negligent homicide in the death of a Ronan woman in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 90 in southwestern Montana.
The Powell County attorney's office said Friday is also filed a criminal endangerment charge against 41-year-old Christopher M. Kepler of Sandpoint, Idaho.
Kepler is jailed in Powell County with bail set at $500,000. His arraignment in District Court is set for Jan. 29.
The Montana Highway Patrol says Kepler was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes shortly after noon on Tuesday when his sport utility vehicle struck a pickup truck just west of Garrison. The collision killed 57-year-old Patricia Graves and injured her husband.
