BOZEMAN, Mont. -

This week, Bozeman business women will get together to celebrate their achievements and honor three special leaders in the community.

The Bozeman Business and Professional Women Honor's Program is an annual event that awards a Woman of Achievement, Employer of the Year and Young Careerist.

While the first two awards are handed out based on nominations, Young Careerist is chosen from a pool of applicants who compete for the honor. This year's Young Careerist candidates are Lauren Maschmedt of KTVM and Ashley Stevick of Ashley Stevick Photography.

Bozeman BPW helps women grow professionally, personally and politically. They host bi-weekly lunch programs and monthly networking socials, in addition to yearly events like the Honor's Program.

"It is a fabulous event because it's a time when women of all professions get together and celebrate all the hard work that they do and with each other, as well as honoring three different people in our community" said Honor's Program Mistress of Ceremonies Paula Beswick.

She said in addition to honoring those awards, the program offers the chance to connect with colleagues and make new friends.

The BPW Honor's Program is on Wednesday, March 20th at the Bozeman Public Library in the large community room from 6 to 8 pm. There'll be food and networking as well as the evening's program.

The event is free, and all women in Bozeman are welcome to attend and bring friends.
