WHITEFISH, Mont. -

Whitefish High School Vice Principal Jackie Fuller announced her decision to resign as the school's Activity Director at the end of the school year. Fuller has been AD for the past six years, and Vice Principal for two.

School board members unanimously approved her resignation, which will give Fuller the chance to focus on administrative duties. Those include more time in the classroom and leading professional development.

"We've asked Jackie to try to manage two jobs. Two full-time jobs," said Superintendent Kate Orozco. "So she's chosen and I think it's probably a good decision for us that she'll be full time Vice Principal with a strong emphasis on instructional leadership."

Administrators say they'll look to hire a new Activities Director from within the district first, as several employees have expressed interest in the position.
