Frenchtown woman arrested, suspected of arson

MISSOULA, Mont. -

Missoula Sheriff’s deputies told NBC Montana a Frenchtown woman has been arrested and charged with arson and cruelty to animals after her trailer caught fire Tuesday, December 4.

NBC Montana was there when flames ripped through the trailer mid-afternoon.

No one was injured but three family pets died.

29 year old Randi Lamont is in jail, charged with arson and cruelty to animals.

Investigators report Lamont may have started an arson fire in June of 2012 in Great Falls in a quest to get sympathy.
